BLOODY HELL!! What have I just listened to??!! This turned me inside out, looked at what it found, didn't like that, cleaned it with abrasives and put me back together again not giving a damn about the right form and shape. No favourite track, to be experienced as a whole. Whatever the guy who tagged this was on I want it too. Power electronics :))))

Gravenchalice takes a triumphant and complex sound and mixes it with classic Black Metal melodies and thundering drums that just works so well. This sound has been big since DSO became popular, however it doesn't take the dissonance and instead layers everything to make everything nice and beefy while having a great sense of melody. A great EP. 4/5

The dissonant bleakness of the first track is less weird and more hypnotic than on the second track. That's why I like it a little more. But both songs together make for an extraordinary experience and a journey to the arhythmically beating heart of darkness.
