Through the ether, a black metal boy showed me “Swordsman”. I was astonished at the mix of shoe-gaze and black metal. The album’s atmosphere is heavy, dark like night. Words cannot describe. Sultry in its romance, there is a sense of melancholic limerance. It allows a soundscape similar to Burzum’s ambient but with a deep electric guitar. Ugh it hurts so well.
